  • My name is Wemimo Ibidunmoye but I'm okay with Wemi Ibidun.
  • I lived in Sweden for over three years but we recently relocated to Canada (June 2018). However,  I was born and bred in Nigeria #ProudlyNaija.

  • I met my husband in 2010 and we have been each other's best friends since then.

  • I am a split image of my Mum. We really don't need to introduce ourselves to anyone when we are together.
  • My best colour is green (2022) but that changes every year.
  • I have a pretty and cute daughter. Her name is Teniola. She was born in July 2017😍
  • I tried to play basketball during my undergraduate days at the university, but it was an epic fail.
  • My best food is peppersoup soaked in noodles #Pho (2020).

  • If I could give my younger self any advice, it would have been "Just be you, no one cares"

  • I learned to sew during the waiting period for my yearly national youth service in Nigeria and then I fell in love with designs, patterns, and crafts.
  • I had my National Youth Service Commission (NYSC) at National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

  • I started my natural hair journey in 2016, I got tired and went on dreads in 2017😏 till now (2020). Cut my dreads in 2021 and about to start again
  • My hair colour has always been black but I  dyed my hair for the first time in 2016 (tinted gold). I dyed it again in 2017 to black with a purple tint. In 2019 summer, I dyed my dreads to reddish gold (I have been experimenting a lot with my hair colour...)
  • I love to make my hair every other week but since I left Nigeria, that has been impossible *sad face*
  • I fell in love with crotchet braid when I moved to Sweden and that was my go-to hairstyle for a while (between 2016-2018). However, when I became a mum, I ported to the #WigGang😊 and now I have joined the #LocsGang (2018 till date)


  • I am an introverted-extrovert, if there is any word like that.
  • I love to make new friends but at the same time, I love to keep my circle really small.
  • I prefer to chat than to receive phone calls (yeah, I had to capitalize that, lol).
  • I love perfumes a lot. In short I love to smell and look good all the time.
  • My everyday go-to clothes will definitely be a dress or jumpsuit. I really love short and smart dresses.
  • I really loved to read while growing up but I find it hard to read books now as life has gotten really busy and that breaks my heart.
  • I speak three languages (Yoruba, English and Swedish). My Swedish is not perfect yet but I understand it to a reasonable extent.
  • I love planning everything ahead of time (events, my home, school work, etc). I hate to be caught unawares.
  • I love writing, this is my happy place. I guess that is my only hobby for now.
  • I discovered I was pregnant a day before my birthday (December 13, 2016).
Gravid means "Pregnant in Swedish" while Raskaana means "Pregnant in Finnish".
  • I would love to travel to different places in the world but I cannot afford it yet.
  • I love to visit the zoo and I love animals a lot. Recently, I started loving nature, thanks to my husbae.
  • I love dogs and I will like to have one as a pet in the nearest future.
  • I used to have more male friends than female friends but when I got married, the table turned for obvious reasons.
  • I am a 100% family person. I can spend the whole day inside the house with my family, gisting, watching movies and playing games. My present obsession (2018) is my daughter and my husband😍
