We went back to
Cobb’s Adventure Park, but this time with the
whole crew! Our last visit was in
2019 when it was just Teni and me. Fast-forward a few years: Teni’s taller, Tade’s in the mix, and my husband finally got to see why this place is such a family-favourite spot.
Spoiler alert: it was just as amazing as I remembered! 🥰
For those who don’t know, Cobb’s Adventure Park is an outdoor playground and one of our favourite spots for family activities in Calgary, where fun knows no bounds. Think pumpkins, cute animals, and endless activities for kids (and parents who refuse to grow up 🙋🏽♀️). Here’s how our day went!
Kangaroo Hopping: A Unique Family Moment
One of the biggest highlights of our visit this time was meeting the kangaroos. Yes, kangaroos! 🦘 Watching Teni and Tade get up close to these gentle animals was so heartwarming.
Teni was curious but kept her distance, while Tade, in his true toddler self, got a little too close for comfort. 😂
(Spoiler: The kangaroos weren't quite ready for that level of affection, but thankfully, no one was upset!If you’re visiting, don’t skip this part of the park. It’s a rare experience that adds a touch of “wow” to your day, and don't forget to take lots of pictures 📸
Lots of Pumpkins and loads of Funtime
The pumpkin patch vibe was in full swing, just like before. The kids had a blast playing around in the patch, running between the pumpkins, and posing for those perfect fall photos. (Who can resist snapping a pic in a pumpkin patch? 🎃
Teni and Tade had the best time in the free-play zones. Teni, now a seasoned Cobb’s adventurer (If I do say so myself. Second time they say is a charm, hahaha), ran the show while Tade toddled behind, trying to keep up. It was a mix of giggles, mini-races, and those priceless sibling moments that make your heart melt. 💕
After all the running around, we hopped onto the cozy carriage ride that took us around the park. It was the perfect way to rest our legs and soak in the beautiful fall scenery while the kids enjoyed the view from the comfort of the wagon. A must-do if you’re looking to relax for a bit while still being part of the action!
Reliving the Fun (and adding a new perspective)
This outdoor fun was special because it was also my husband's first time at this park. I loved seeing the kids keeping him on his toes, hahaha, but it was fun while it lasted

For me, the best part was watching my kids experience the park together. It’s funny how the same place can feel brand new when you’re seeing it through different eyes.

If you’re planning a trip to Cobb’s Adventure Park, here’s what I’ve learned after two visits:
- Get there early to make the most of your day. There’s so much to see!
- Pack layers because Calgary weather loves to surprise you.
- Don’t miss the kangaroo encounter; it’s a must-see for kids and adults alike.
- Let the kids take the lead! Watching them explore freely is half the fun.
