And then, there were Four

Knock! Knock!! Knock!!! Is anybody still here🙈? (this is honestly the way I feel after been away for so long). I know it's been a while. I mean for the first time since I started this blog, I was out of this space for over three months which I honestly didn't plan this way but there were so many reasons why I took a break. First, this particular year called "2020" has been one heck of a year for everybody all over the world including me and if I want to be honest, at a point, all the news around coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic became so overwhelming that I had to take a break from writing and just breathe while taking one day at a time. Another reason why I took a break (this time, a good reason) was because, my sweet pea that I have been baking in the oven since February made his grand entry on the 4th of October and I am so excited to share with y’all how the journey was and what we have been up to💃🏽. I have so many stories to share as usual. Starting from my pregnancy to working from home while pregnant to being pregnant with a toddler & of course my labour and delivery story. Oh how i’ve missed my happy place❤️. In other news, your favourite baby girl is still here and she is BACK like she never left. Whoop whoop💃🏽

Let me just say that my life has become so busy since our sweet pea joined us that I barely have time to do a lot as I used to but to be honest i'm not complaining at all.  I'm just thankful for a good support system, my darling husband & the strength to do it all. I am officially on a one year maternity leave 💃🏽& my plan is to write more during this time. I'm very sure that it's going to be challenging combining it all but this is what I love doing and one thing i've realized about life is that, we will always find time to do what we love to do, no matter how busy life is. Two things I will be doing more this period in order to stay consistent is writing very short articles (this Mama doesn't have a lot of time) and also sharing some nice videos on my YouTube channel with y'all🤞 (So help me God, hahahhaha)

Lest I forget & before I wrap up this article, while I was away, I got some messages on IG & emails from people who are planning to move to Sweden for studies and they had questions about what to expect, how to get accommodation, etc. The best part for me was that, they all mentioned that they had stumbled on my blog and read my articles before reaching out. To be honest, those messages always make me happy & even make my day. You want to know why? Of course, I will tell you. This blog was birthed in 2017 (you can check my first article here) when I thought about my Swedish experience and just wanted to write things down in English (Swedes speak Swedish and most websites are not in English) and share my personal experience with people who were planning to relocate especially from Nigeria like me. 3 years later, my blog is being read by people from different parts of the world and I must say, your girl is proud of herself. Btw, this is not a blog related post, this is just me saying, I wont stop doing what I love doing because somebody somewhere might find this useful one day & like I always say, I would love my kids to visit this space when they grow & read all the awesome stories I have written about them💃🏽. I also need to mention that I have made a couple of friends via this blog. I do not take all these for granted and i’m so happy with the way my little space/corner turned out.

I will like to say a big thank you to everyone that has read one article or the other on this blog, sent me messages/emails. I see y’all and I love you all💞. You wont wait for a long time before you see me again.  So stay tuned and let's roll together on this beautiful journey. Until next time...💋
